Frequently Asked Questions

1. Where is my data stored?

Your foraging data is stored locally on your device. If you have "Cloud Sync" enabled, a backup is stored in your personal iCloud (Apple) or Google Drive (Android). We never see your data.

2. I got a new phone. How do I get my pins back?

Ensure you are signed into the same Apple/Google account as your old device. Open ShroomVault, go to Settings > Sync, and your data will automatically populate from your private cloud backup.

3. The weather data isn't loading.

Weather features require ShroomVault Premium and an active internet connection. Ensure you have granted the app "Precise Location" permissions in your system settings.

4. How do I delete all my data?

Because we don't store your data on our servers, simply deleting the app from your device (and removing the shroomvault_backup.json file from your cloud drive) will permanently erase all records.
